Community & Network
The Songhai farmers’ network brings together learners, former trainees, entrepreneurs and project holders who extend the model in their territories: producing, processing, selling, transmitting and creating local jobs.
Trained people become relays for agroecological practices, productive organization and entrepreneurship in their villages, towns and projects.
The network facilitates experience sharing: crop choices, livestock, processing, maintenance, marketing and solving field problems.
Farmers can develop agricultural micro-enterprises, processing units or short supply chains that meet community needs.
Songhai’s strength is not limited to the Porto-Novo center. It extends into farms, workshops, associations, learner cohorts and initiatives led by those who replicate the model at their own scale.
