| Songhai : working to be a Regional Centre of Excellence |

Promoted as Centre of Excellence for Africa in 2008 by the United Nations, Songhai is more and more taking the attributes conferred by this promotion. From the 13th to 30th August, the Centre welcomed an evaluation mission from IFAD-ONUDI.
During their stay, the members of the mission, who are experts of the United Nations, studied the needs for reinforcing Songhai in a Regional Centre of Excellence for the promotion of entrepreneurship in West and Central Africa. In Songhai, the team’s work consisted in orientation meetings with the Director on all the components of the integrated system of the Centre, with the heads of various sections and in the visits of Songhai sites both in Benin and Nigeria. |
